Joseph Ortogni is hired by Synfina, a subsidiary of Petrofina, to create a foundry for the manufacture of beryllium copper molds for plastic injection.

1975

Purchase of the ceramic casting patent. A precision molding process capable of producing parts with excellent accuracy and surface finish and metallurgical integrity. The molds are made from highly refractory aggregates with silica and an ethyl silicate liquid.

Purchase of the foundry by Joseph Ortogni. Moving to Gosselies under the name Walcast.

Investment in a mixing system Sider progetti.

Integration of Fabrice Ortogni into the Walcast company. Industrial designer. Beginning of CAD/CAM. Assistance with the start-up of glass tooling by centrifugation and pressing.
