Fabrice Ortogni: a design pilot...
From conception to realization. Under the banner of his company Corsair, Fabrice applies his experience where art and technique intersect. He juggles composite materials, plastics, precision machining, and new technologies. All his skills are at the service of art in its most unexpected forms.

Fabrice Ortogni grew up in the setting, smells, and industrial magic of Walcast in Gosselies, the precision foundry created by his father and mother, a duo of entrepreneurs driven by the same spirit. There, in contact with the machines, the young man put his passion for drawing objects with elegant and efficient lines into practice.
Then, continuing in the same direction, Fabrice studied industrial design at La Cambre (Brussels) where his final project highlighted a playful spirit, a lover of technique, and a penchant for quirky humor. Proof of this, Fabrice distinguished himself by creating an ultralight two-seater submarine as easy to use as a pedal boat, using two buoys and ballasts to descend to a depth of four meters. He will realize this patented project, moving from the design to the prototype of this machine applying Archimedes' principle.

But why this name?Because it designates a legendary plane, with its inverted gull-wing design, its energy-filled elegance, and its “MARINE” blue color. For Fabrice, this plane is a precise object, carrying emotion and simply perfect. Its shape derives from its function. All the components of this flying machine synthesize the solutions found to solve the equation of innovative concepts. This is the motto when a project is proposed to the Corsair company.
In fact, Fabrice's submarine story explains the rest of his journey. This experience gave him an awareness of the potential that every human being has within themselves and their ingenuity. Today, he juggles metal casting, computer-aided design, machining, 3D printing, all with attention to detail and finishing for ever more demanding clients. Art foundries see with 1 pixel, Fabrice sees with 1000 pixels. (A quote from Xavier Veilhan).
